On saturday, April 14 Karl-Heinz Schott, second editor, presented the textbook at the worldcongress of IVO in Toronto. Karl-Heinz is past president of the IVO. The IVO is a joint effort between member countries all over the world. The goal is to align in the field of education and training and grow the professions profile of pedorthics and orthopedic shoe technology.

Karl-Heinz told about the content of the book and the very critical way Klaas Postema reviewed all chapters. He also told about the Foundation BERJALAN. At the end of his presentation he offered the first copy of “Pedorthic footwear; Assessment and treatment” to Lisa Irish, as past president of the Pedorthic Association of Canada. There were many enthusiastic reactions about the book and about the Foundation.
